I had a much much better day today. Plus, I finally decided on what I'd do for my second
Answer this question:
How many pounds of cat litter did we buy in 2006?
- Hint 1: This was for all four of us
- Hint 2: We have only one cat box
- Hint 3: We use Swheat Scoop (lighter than clay)
Here are the rules:
- You have to be a cat.
- To be eligible, you have to have a blog or a Catster page, or you must have left a comment on my blog prior to this.
- If you have a giant cat family, each cat can enter once, separately. For example, if we could play, we could have four separate entries, one for me, one for Eddie, one for Olivia and one for Caroline.
- Leave your answer in a comment to this post.
- Entries will be accepted until 6:00 p.m. Mountain Time on Sunday, January 7, 2007.
- The winning entrant with the exact or closest answer will have a choice of a $25 gift card to Petco or Petsmart, $25 cash to the person or animal charity of your choice, or a $25 sponsorship at Best Friends (and you get to choose the cat you want to sponsor!). Plus, some special surprise.
- If there are two or more identical winning entries, one winner will be picked at random.
- But wait, there's more! The runner up entrant will receive some fun things, too!
My guess is 300 pounds (I'm probably so far off it's laughable)!
ReplyDeleteI don't know if I ever left a comment. The Lady says that you even kept track of how much kitty litter you bought is a frightening thought. My guess (if I am eligible) is 192 pounds.

HMMMMMMMMMMMMM. I agree with SS&S, that you all share the same box. This is hard, as I don't know this stuff how well it works and all. So this is a true guess. 250 pounds.

ReplyDeleteHum...What a fun contest. A couple of years ago you put the bite on a big big bag of the litter stuff and spilled it all over a closet, but I don't know if you used up any litter that way this year so...I'm guessing 240 pounds. Tommy is guessing 500lbs.

WOW! We can't figure out if 900 pounds of litter a year is embarassing or not. Thats a lot of poop.
ReplyDeleteCheysuli 350 lbs
ReplyDeleteGemini 150 lbs
Georgia Why on earth would you keep track of such a thing?
Hmmm ... let's see. We use 80 lbs of Tidy Cat litter per week which translates into 416 lbs per year. But, of course, that's spread out between five litter boxes. Since you use Swheat Scoop,
ReplyDeleteDino guesses 350 lbs
Egypt guesses 375 lbs (extra needed for kickout)
Maxie guesses 300 lbs (30% kicked out of box)
Tuxie guesses 275 lbs
Midnight guesses 325 lbs (but you need more litter boxes)
I love contests! My guess is 323 lbs. Can't wait to find out what the answer is.
ReplyDeleteEleventy million pounds!
ReplyDeletePuffalump guess 173 lbs.
We have absolutely no idea, but that's not going to stop us from entering.
ReplyDeleteJake: 140 pounds.
Bathsheba: 185 lbs.
After many careful and complicated calculations, we come up with 486 pounds. And Mom really did calculations. She figured out how much litter we use in a year, multiplied it by 2, then divided by 1.5 based on the estimated weight difference between our litter and yours.
ReplyDeleteSo our guess: 486
