When You Don't Post Anymore.

First, you miss all your friends. I've been keeping up but I need my mom's help to comment and she has really not felt inclined for quite some time. Second, Mom all but stopped taking photos of us. In fact, this is the last one, taken in December:
My bro napping with the purring sloth toy he got for Catmas. It is the last photo we have of him.

We are so very sad to report that Izzy crossed over the Bridge this past Friday from complications of diabetes. We never expected that he would not come back from the cat fix-it place. For those who still think about us, we wanted to let you know he's with his rainbow family and friends now.

  8. I am so sorry for your loss of dear Izzy. We understand your Mom and not being able to keep up anymore. Our Mom had that epiphany last fall, and yes her photo taking is only relegated to her phone. Keeping your family in our purrs.

  13. You are undertaking the long journey through grief. While others may share that grief we all walk it alone. There are no right or wrong paths, no proper way to carry oneself, no set amount of time to complete it. Some steps will come easier than others. There will be rogue waves of grief that you won’t see coming, and knock you back days. But you will come through it. If you get lost let us know. We have been through it before and we might be able to help you find the way out.

  15. I have my boy Neville battling diabetes, and it's not going well for him, so I feel for you very strongly. Izzy undoubtedly received the best of care, and he looks perfect, curled up with his sloth. Godspeed, Izzy. Your family will see you again some day.

  24. Oh dear, this made my new dad real sad. He says Ivan and Izzy were some of his bestest long-time friends in here. Maybe Izzy will meet up with Cleo (and old Orbit, of course) over the bridge. We are so sorry to hear about this. Our hearts go out to you.

  25. I have not visited for a while so was saddened to hear of Izzy's passing. Losing a friend we love to deeply takes its toll but remember Izzy was here, he was loved by lucky people - you and your family.
