Deliver Us From Fireworks.
We better get some peace and quiet tonight. Bozos from all over have been shooting off very loud, very dangerous and very illegal fireworks for the last five nights! Mom has tried to shield us with closed windows and fan noise and the TV, but last night was the absolute worst — it didn't stop until about 2:00 a.m.! Since we can only see them exploding in the air but not actually pinpoint where they're coming from, reporting these stoopy scofflaws is not really possible. ::Grrr::
All I know is that I do not want to spend another night squashed behind the bookcase.

Izzits, it was crazy here on July 4th, but things have settled down now.
ReplyDeleteThen again, the State of Michigan made laws that said you only have so much time before, during, and after a holiday to be jerks; step over those lines, and the po po are on your tails!
Fireworks are the invention of the devil! We get them here for November 5th, but thankfully none are close by.

ReplyDeleteWe were mostly spared the local BOOMIES this year. TBT says there were hard for bozos to get. And the few who did were farther away than usual. Even Marley (who is especially upset by LOUD NOISES) didnt even go unner the bed.
