Even though my mom is retired, give her a Monday holiday and she loses all sense of things. Like forgetting that today is Tuesday and it's my turn to post!
dood...lookin most handsum ther buddy....& for what itz werth; de food servizz gurl heer in trout towne haz ta chex her drivin licentz ta rememburr her name !!! ☺☺☺☺☺☺☺
Ellen's comment above gave dad a chuckle, and he says indeed, humans can most certainly be a little dippy sometimes. He's human- He put 4 large trash & recycling totes out to the street (normal part of his job here), completely forgetting that any major holiday puts pick-up off by one day, so he had to lug it all back up the hill until the next day. He learned his lesson a while ago about leaving the trash out overnight when bears tore through the totes, scattering waste everywhere!
Looks like ALL humans are like that. I know my own mom has to this what day is it at least once in the week. They do all run together. Mom got a big smile out of Eastside Cats above..about what her Tuesday was like.
Yup, lots of humans have that problem :/ Mum is still working but she should be retired! How can she not want to spend time with me?!!!!!! Sheesh! Purrs, Julie
When Beins retire, days can become hard to keep track of. TBT bought a digital display that pretty much just shows the day of the week and the time. Sometimes, he has to check it. And sometimes AM/PM is important too. In Winter 6 AM doesnt look a whole lot different from 6 PM.
At least you were there to remind her!
ReplyDeleteI don't even need a holiday Monday to make me lose track of the days, Ivan.
ReplyDeleteWe didn't know that your mom retired, Ivan!
ReplyDeleteFor those of us who are still poor working slobs, yesterday was the Mondayest Tuesday EVER!
Loved that!

ReplyDeleteThat's how humans are! No sense of time whatsoever.
ReplyDeleteThat’s how it is around here too, Ivan. Every day the mom wakes up and has to repeat a couple of times what day it is.
ReplyDeleteHumans are a little dippy sometimes. :)
ReplyDeleteOur Mom is the same...Between not posting and not commenting, we are (almost) ready to trade her in on a new model.

ReplyDeleteDad did that the first year too Ivan. Just give her a nudge to remind her and get her back on track
ReplyDeleteThat's kitties job to keep the humans functioning properly.
ReplyDeleteEmma and Buster

I think you should get extra treats for doing an excellent job of keeping track of the days.
