The birds generally last through storms with or without us. Those feathers are great insulation. But TBT also makes sure there are sunflower and thistle seeds and suet out to make sure they have easy food available. If a little help gets a few more birds through storms, that means more to watch the rest of the year!
Not another winter storm. The birds are probably saying we should of came back later, it should be spring time. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day and we hope the storm isn't bad for your bird friends. World of Animals Rittenhouse

ReplyDeleteOh no, not a winter storm, dang, I hope it goes away quickly!
ReplyDeleteOh no! You’re expecting a storm? Well, that’s not right. I hope you don’t end up with bird-cicles.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure the birdies know what to do. They're not as dumb as they look.

Mom agrees with me that we barely had snow this year (or last).
ReplyDeleteYou could always invite them in, Ivan.
ReplyDeleteHopefully the birds have a nice warm nest where they can ride out the storm.
ReplyDeleteOoh, we don't like to hear the 'w' word anymore!
ReplyDeleteHope it's not too bad, then your feathered friends will be out and about soon.
I am sure they will be OK.
ReplyDeleteWe are always amazed they can keep warm. Do they collect our dropped off fur and make little jackets?
