I am so excited! My hummingbird friends came to visit this weekend—in fact, one came right up to the glass door and chirped at me. He wanted to know where the feeders were!
I had Mom whip up a batch of nectar, and by the time that cooled enough, the feeder stuff had been taken out of storage, washed and hung. The next thing you know, we had happy hummers!
Now, if only Mom would respond so quickly to my chirps for food.
That is exciting, we never have seen a real hummer.
ReplyDeleteFunny how that works. Mum rushes to put out seed for the birds and critters faster than she feeds us!
ReplyDeleteAll mums must be the same :/
It's still too cold for hummers here, but at least mum has started cleaning the feeders.

Yay for happy hummers. Mum hung our nectar feeders out but we haven't seen any hummer yet.
ReplyDeleteWow, that was awesome hummingbird service! And yeah, your human needs to step up her kitty service game if she isn't as quick with you guys!
ReplyDeleteHow exciting ! Your mom is a great service girl for the hummingbirds ! Purrs
ReplyDeleteIzzy, I so want to RUB YOUR BELLEH! How nice that your mum is making sure that you have excellent BirdTV.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the reminder to make some juice for them. Ours should be back here next week.
ReplyDeleteGood question Izzy. Would you be able to capture the hummers and show us dear?

Hurrah fer yer hummers! We just got officially "hummered" this week too. We were worried about that cuz TBT suddenly realized he was late putting out the feeders and we were afraid they had all found other yards ta live in...
ReplyDeleteThanks for reminding us that we need to remind the mom to get our feeders out. We wanna see the little hummers too. We’ve missed them!
ReplyDeleteIs it that time already? We are finally warming up so will ask Dad to pop out some seed so the our window will be active again
