We didn't do any preparations and now we'll be plagued with bad luck all the coming year. Plus, my mom unwisely swept away our wealth when she cleaned up near the cat box this morning!
And to make it all the more unlucky, I didn't get any spring rolls.
新年快乐 (Happy New Year) anyway.
We think that applies to your mum as she was the one doing the sweeping and not preparing ;)
ReplyDeleteWe think you kitties will be OK...well except for not getting spring rolls!!

Happy Chinese New Year! I guess I swept up my luck too, but I always have to sweep up litter. I did go out for Chinese food though :)
ReplyDeleteIt's ok. You will still have a wonderful year.
ReplyDeleteWe’re sure it’ll be a good year despite all of that.
ReplyDeleteUmmm, will it work if mum ate left over fried rice?
ReplyDeleteGong Hei Fat Choy, my Furiends! I wouldn't mind a little piggy around here. Or maybe just a pork chop.
ReplyDeleteSpring rolls? Now my human is hungry!
ReplyDeleteMaybe you had better make more mess around the litter box and stop your mum sweeping that and it will be okay. I don't think that will bring spring rolls though.
ReplyDeleteYou know, Flynn and Eric have a valid point there. No Spring rolls will be there..that needs correction of another sort. XX
ReplyDeleteWe are more than ready for Spring and some rolls too!
ReplyDeleteIzzits, it's the Year of The Pig, so even with reduced luck, you'll still get lots of yummy food! YAY!
ReplyDeleteNOt even Peking duck? Surely you should have at least some duck!
ReplyDeleteEmma and Buster
Happy New Year! Hopefully you can get some extra treats to make up for the lack of spring rolls.
