i could not stay up past 11PM so missed it too!! PS Izzy Amarula agrees that those vets have magical cameras that add pounds!Kinda like human's mirrors that seem to do the same thing!
We gave up on the moon, but howled anyway..just kidding. We were disappointed with all the clouds. Sunny weather always makes us feel warm even when it's icy cold, too - Tom x
That was disappointing! Here in the UK the eclipse lasted from 4.30 - 5.30 am. We watched it from 4.45 from the comfort of our bedroom window, and for once the rain had stopped and the sky was cloud free.
We were very disappointed too. We had a big storm with snow then rain.Lots and lots and lots of rain! Oh well, we got some treats ;) Purrs Georgia,Julie and JJ
Boy do I ever know what you mean! Mom said she has missed many eclipses of the moon from RAIN...and many many many meteor showers and close line ups of planets because it is ALWAYS raining here. Mommy said finally vindication. We broke the record again for rain for the year.
We understand, we had hard and pouring rain so we didn't get to moon anyone either!

ReplyDeleteWell that stinks. We got to see it around midnight.
ReplyDeleteWhat a bummer! My human forgot about it until it was too late. Which is probably even worse than cloud cover.
ReplyDeleteKnow what you mean. My mom too.
DeleteEven if there hadn't been clouds around here, the temperature was about 5 degrees, so all things combined, nobody here saw it either.
ReplyDeleteI have found that the sky is one of those things that simply cannot be relied upon in this world. That is all.

Boy I wish I had that great fortune a few times. Seems like it's always raining here.
