Yep, it's true. Saturday was my ninth blogoversary! It's hard to believe, isn't it? Who knew I'd still be at it?
So Charlotte has moved from my mom's bedroom/bathroom to here, the top of the refrigerator.
We are sad that she is so scared of us. :-(
Happy Blogoversary!!!!
ReplyDeletePoor little Chasrlotte. Maybe she just needs more time to get used to the sounds and routine of the house.
Happy Blogoversary! Nine years is a long time. I hope Charlotte soon gets braver and settles in.
ReplyDeleteHappy Blogoversary pal, that is a lot of paw tapping! Come out pretty Charlotte, your family is waiting for your happy.
ReplyDeleteHappy 9th Blogoversary! That is like... WOW!!!!
ReplyDeleteAll that time and you still have a cool blog :)
That's because you are a cool cat William ;)
Don't be too sad about Charlotte. Some kitties need more time.

PeeEss: About your comments on Tillie;s post Sunday.
You are SO right that some kitties are harder to let go of.
Hard as it is to accept, I cannot imagine losing 2 sweeties
in such a short time. Hugs for you!
I think Tillie and Russell are good friends now.
She did like the company of other cats, especially JJ.
JJ is a relaxed boy with a nice purrsonality.
Russell is so cute how could she not like him ;)

Happy blogoversary! I took some time to get to know my family but then I settled in. I hope that Charlotte's initial fears are just about finding her own place.
ReplyDeleteHappy Ninth! Wow--we are heading for four in April...but NINE. Oh my.
ReplyDeleteCharlotte will come around--how could anyone not lubs YOU, Buddy? Just tell my darling Screamoline to scream softly for a bit, ok? XOXOXOXO
William, give her time. She may have come from a place where she didn't have nice cats like you to hang with.
ReplyDeleteDerby and I took a while to get to know each other too.
Also, happy Blogoversary!
ReplyDeleteHappy ninth blogaversary, William!
ReplyDeleteGive Charlotte time to adjust. Maybe she isn't used to other cats. At least from the top of the fridge, she can see everything and probably feels more confident than she did under the bed.
Happy Number Nine, Tiny Boy!
ReplyDeletePoor Charlotte, it must all be so strange for her. Mommy thinks the top of the fridge is a GOOD sign...it's a way-up space so that will give her vertical "confidence". We kitties learn by observation and she can watch to her heart's content up there. Torties are so stubborn about making a decision, so be plenty patient and double it!
Happy 9th blogoversary, William! I hope Charlotte learns how nice you two kitties are and eventually you can all be pals.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful anniversary to celebrate, William! We've been reading you for years, and wish you many, many more! And please don't be sad that Charlotte appears afraid; she has to get her bearings and needs to feel safe; be a good brother and send her sweet William meows of encouragement!
ReplyDeletecongrats on 9 years! we had to go back to catch up on the news about Charlotte.....we are glad you are giving her a new home and know she will get lots of love and patience as she adapts to a new home. Happy 2014!
ReplyDeleteHappy Bloganniversary! That is a LONG time to blog!
ReplyDeleteTry getting Charlotte a calming collar. I just bought one for my kitty because she was stressed out by the other one chasing her all the time. They work!! Seriously, she is much happier. Bought it at the pet store--it is just a purple collar that smells really, really good. Also, I plugged in one of those pheromone diffusers to chill everyone in the house. They work, believe it or not.
But try the collar for Charlotte.
My mom liked this suggestion and got the purple collar. She's not been able to even get it on Charlotte yet--Charlotte got quite trollified with the whole thing and Mom decided to let it rest for a bit. We'll keep our paws crossed!
DeleteEventually she will love you. These things just take time. And concatulations on the blogoversary! PS: Happy New Year.
ReplyDeleteWishing you and Charlotte have a very happy new year. May you feel love and peace and celebrate many, many more Blogoversaries to come! See you in 2014! Purrs...
ReplyDeleteConcats on your blogoversary! Your blog was the first one we started following when our mom began blogging.
ReplyDeleteCharlotte's move to the top of the fridge sounds like progress to us. It's better than hiding, and she can get used to all the new sights and sounds from a safe place.
Catty New Year!!
Happy Blogoversary! We know Charlotte will eventually come around. Just the fact that she is in view is a step in the right direction :-)
ReplyDeleteHappy blogoversery and happy new year!
