We put our tree up yesterday, and guess what? It was still standing and intact this morning! I think my mom was pretty amazed.
This year we included a little rust-color cat ornament (from Feline o' Mine, of course!) in memory of Russell. Who would have had that tree knocked over already, by the way!
Hey, maybe I should do that for my own tribute!
Your tree is pretty and that felt hat is adorable. I know it will be a favorite ornament for years to come.

ReplyDeleteMy cats used to knock our tree over. Scratches on the ceiling to prove it. My h went out and bought the bigger iron tree stand ever. I can't even lift it. No more trees on the floor for us. Also, my Purr Gang is getting older.
ReplyDeleteLove the ornament. We have several cats on our tree. There's a black and white one for Maxwell Freeman. An all white one for a cat when I was growing up. Two Siamese since I'm on my 6th Siamese. You name it and we have it on the tree. Not an orange one though so I will be on the look out for that when I go shopping.
Enjoy your sun when you can get it. We have fog with more fog oh and did I mention the fog.
I do think maybe you should knock the tree over in remembrance of Russell, William. I bet it kind of makes the human sad, seeing it standing like that.

I think Caroline looks very lovely there, all stretched out and relaxed and wanting to be besties. Heh heh. Nice ornament. You could whap the tree a little, you know, not knock it ALL the way over...I think the R-Man would approve of that.
