Thursday Wrap-Up.

Well, we've had two pretty ferocious rain storms in the past two days, with lots of lightning and thunder and everything. This afternoon we even had Pee Queen-size hail! Or maybe that was just pee-size hail. No, that wouldn't be right–wouldn't pee-size hail just be rain? I'm worn out from just trying to figure this out. Anyway, it was pretty noisy!

This weekend I think I'm just going to nap and stuff. How about you?

  1. Ugh. I don't mind rain, and we're getting some tonight, I think, but I don't like the pounding rain that makes everything noisy. It gives me a headache and I can never be sure if it's going to come screaming through the roof or not. Hail? Hate it. It should be illegal.

  3. We've had rain here, and thunder too, which isn't the usual southern California weather! It's clearing up now, though, which means work for me - my human couldn't do any photo shoots while it was so dark and gray, so she will be doing catch-up!

  4. William, we are expecting rain here this weekend, so we plan to nap. The weather is cooling off too, so maybe we will be napping by the fireplace if we are lucky.

  8. Hail is very weird stuff. We had some about a week ago, and it was clattering on the deck.

So would you say it was raining cats and cats?

Re your comment on my blog: yes, we do have several Christmas cactus plants - really two different ones plus plants that came from cuttings of those two. The flowering part seems to have to do with both the length of the day and a cool enough temperature to set the buds. By leaving ours on the deck until it has been chilly at night, we usually get flowers later inside.

Of it was up to Mom to get the plants watered, they wold all be dead! Dad is the hero there.

  16. William! I am sorry to be so late commenting but my useless Human has been even more useless than usual lately. She says she's had to "work" so many extra hours that she just is too "exhausted" to help me blog and visit. Uh-huh. I mean, it's not like she breaks rocks for a living or anything!

Anyway, we are having some rain too, which I sort of like. I hope you have a good weekend with no more bad hail!
