Our trees are budding here in the southwest, but just this morning we woke up to about two inches of snow! Last Sunday night we had thunder and lightning...and snow! We love the moisture, but really, it's been nothing but loco all winter!
I think it should be called El Russell.
Have a great weekend, everybody! Our next storm isn't due to arrive until Sunday night!
We have robins and other summer birds that have shown up in the past week. Earliest ever since I been here.
ReplyDeleteEl Russell, that's funny.
ReplyDeleteHa ha! El Russell! Here in Capitola it's been in the 30's but bright and sunny the past two mornings. Tomorrow we are supposed to get another BIG rain storm. We are ready for Spring!

ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend to you as well~!
Hmm... El Russell has a nice ring to it, I think.
ReplyDeleteWe hope the storms are over with quickly and you get some nice weather.
ReplyDeletewell you both look nice and comfy indoors. We are heading into cooler autumn weather after our hot summer.
ReplyDeleteHaha! El Russell causing all the disruption! We have had a week of lovely, but cold sunshine. The rain is back today though.
ReplyDeleteEl Russell...ha!
ReplyDeleteHere in southeastern Ontario we really didn't have much winter this year--yay!
I agree, El Russell would be purrfect! I hope y'all have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteGreat picture of you two!
ReplyDeleteSpring can be unsettled but yours sounds more unsettled than usual!
both of you looking good. Our Mrs H was planning to cut back the ivy and bought a ladder to do it, but when it arrived, so also had nesting blackbirds, so the cutting not gonna happen till autumn. Darcy and Bing (Snoopervisers)
ReplyDeleteWe are getting RAIN. For THREE days...
ReplyDeleteA Russell weather phenomenon. Not a bad idea. Have a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteWe need some more snow here, but Meowm is glad we aren't getting any. Well, she would like more in the mountains, but not here in the valley. Hope you stay warm and snuggly!
ReplyDeleteWe agree on the crazy weather. In three months' time we had accumulated over 6 feet of snow. Luckily the first 2 feet melted off before the last 4 came! Now it's raining so hard it might flood! We're gonna be in so much trouble if we can't stay here... ughhh
ReplyDeleteand, it's flooding in Australia where the human grandparents live. but they are not complaining they prefer floods to droughts. FAZ
ReplyDelete"El Russell" That is so funny!!!!
