Easy Like Sunday.

I'm so grateful for the quiet. Last night was perfectly awful.

See, when I was a really really really tiny boy, my cat mom, sister and I were abandoned right around this time. And as if that weren't bad enough, then came the Fourth of July! I remember how terrified I was with all the fireworks. So even though that was years ago and I know I've been safe with my true mom ever since, all the loud noises still get me all upset. I'm glad the worst is over.

  7. At least you have a reason for getting upset. Buddah doesn't have one other than being a sissy. I kept telling him he was inside where those things couldn't get him, but he wouldn't listen...

  13. Oh William,
Mom and I remember how scary it was for you and you were so so tiny! You are a very lucky boy to have found your mom.
Hope and I spent the evening of the fourth under the bed and Tommy chose to sit and stare out the window. Mom kept the TV on so we wouldn't be so scared.
Have a quiet week Willam and all.

  15. We're not too scared of the big noises, except if they're real close. The good thing is that those noises are gone for another year.
