I'm so grateful for the quiet. Last night was perfectly awful.
See, when I was a really really really tiny boy, my cat mom, sister and I were abandoned right around this time. And as if that weren't bad enough, then came the Fourth of July! I remember how terrified I was with all the fireworks. So even though that was years ago and I know I've been safe with my true mom ever since, all the loud noises still get me all upset. I'm glad the worst is over.
I am too. And I am glad that you have found your person!
ReplyDeleteWilliam I am glad that you have a safe furrever home. Those boomers can't get you anymore, you are safe.
ReplyDeleteHmmm, my word verification is POKER. Wanna play?
Well - It's good to know that your mom took you and you no longer need to be scared and alone.
ReplyDeleteWe hate da "scare all da aminals half to death day" or as it's otherwise known, 4th of July.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you are in your forever home and you are safe from the kabooms.
ReplyDeleteWe get scared too. The Big Thing sits with us while we are unner the bed. That helps.
ReplyDeleteAt least you have a reason for getting upset. Buddah doesn't have one other than being a sissy. I kept telling him he was inside where those things couldn't get him, but he wouldn't listen...
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you have such a great forever home to stay! That boomer get lost!
ReplyDeleteI really understand why the fireworks upset you, William. I am so glad that you have a safe forever home now.
ReplyDeleteWe are so glad that you are relaxed in your wonderful forever home now. Fireworks can be scary business.
ReplyDeleteWe understand how you feel!!! We didn't like the boomies either. At least it's over for another year.
ReplyDeleteWe can understand why you get upset, William, and we're glad you have your furever home now. At least it's over for another 6 months until New Year's...
ReplyDeletePurrs and hugs,
The Kitty Krew
Oh William,
ReplyDeleteMom and I remember how scary it was for you and you were so so tiny! You are a very lucky boy to have found your mom.
Hope and I spent the evening of the fourth under the bed and Tommy chose to sit and stare out the window. Mom kept the TV on so we wouldn't be so scared.
Have a quiet week Willam and all.
Of course I meant William not Willam. Sorry.
ReplyDeleteWe're not too scared of the big noises, except if they're real close. The good thing is that those noises are gone for another year.
ReplyDeleteoh William, but when you hear the boomies you can be scairt and then run to your real mom and get comfort!
ReplyDeleteWilliam, we are sorry you were so scared. At least they seem to be over for the year. You won't have to be scared for a long time again.
