We are all lazy today, flinging away any promises we made last week. The Harvest Moon took its toll on the house and it was all we could do to stay away from the inexplicable leaf drop from the fiddle fig, the sudden appearance of yak in the living room, the shadow cats who forced us to play on top of the piano. And why was one of Mom's chickens in the middle of the kitchen floor this morning? What a silly question. How on earth would we know?
So we'll try to be better tomorrow.
seriously, why do they always blame the cats?

That's why sometimes, it's good to have a dog in the house. Just to blame him for stuff that er, ah, happens....

Sure, sure. It's always the cats fault. Why doesn't she ask the chicken how he got there?

ReplyDeleteHA! Russell Bustle down in the corner of the picture looks like he's saying "who me?"
ReplyDeleteYou all look kind of tired from the night of frolicking. Blame the chicken. The moon sure was pretty wasn't it.

Don't blame the cats, blame the full moon instead. No one can resist its effects...
