Deja Vu.

We had another afternoon storm, so the photos I couldn't post yesterday are still fitting although late. While we didn't get hail and winds, the lightning was closer. And one thunderclap was so close it almost made my mom hide under the couch with us! That could have been fun but we would rather have the fun without the loud and scary noise.

And aren't these a hoot? There are no lenses in them yet. But that means we can take turns trying them on and still see! (They look very dumb on Russell.)

  1. That is some seriously crazy rain you are having. And your Mom's cat eye glasses are so cool. Glad that they don't have lenses in them so you all can wear them too, but I suspect that'll change soon.

  2. Wow look at all of your rain? We never ended up with a Lake Derby here when it rained bad.

I see your mum crazy glasses. Is she reverting back to the 50's and 60's?

  7. William Lake looks like it might be a fun place to go wading if not for the rain and hail bits.

I love the glasses and can't wait to see how you all look in them!

  9. Wow, when you get rain down your way, you really get rain... oh well, glad that there was no damage, even though those loud claps of thunder couldn't have been much fun.

  10. We need rain too! But no thunder booms please. We run to the basement when that happens.
Way cool glasses! Mom has a friend who loves all things retro, and we bet she'd love the cat's-eyes!
