Recovering Meezer Rule Wednesday.

Pretend you're pinching your nose so you hear me right. It's me, Caroline!

I'm getting better slowly but surely. Mom's been leaving the vaporizer on all day and all night for me, and that's really helped me breathe through my little nose. I suppose the medicine's helping too, even though I don't like any of that. But the really bad part is that I'm pretty bored in that tiny bathroom. I think I need some puzzles and books and paper dolls.

Anyway, when Mom was home for lunch, she carried me out to the rest of the house so I could say hi to the little pest Russell, Kangaroo Girl and my favorite brother William. Well, at least he was my favorite brother until he hurt my feelings by hissing at me! So my rule for today is just because someone's staying in the bathroom it doesn't mean it's a brand new cat you have to get your back all in a territorial point about. Actually, that's just common sense, so here's a better rule: no hissing at a meezer!

OK, you can unpretend pinching your nose now.

Oh, and William? Santa saw that whole thing today, so maybe you and Russell will both be getting coal!

Since you're asking for stuff, don't forget the catnip toys.

  3. cannot believe your sibling had the sheer nerve to hiss at you. How dense is your brother? Does he not realise that you are the same beautiful siamese as before? My brother would do the same because he is challenged. In every way.

  4. Caroline I'm sorry that William hissed at you. Sometimes Bounce hisses at me for no reason at all! Hope you feel all better very soon.

  6. Caroline, here is something you can try for your stuffy nose (we use it at the shelter). It is called "Little Noses" and it is very gentle saline drops meant for babies. You can get it at a drugstore. Just have your mom squeeze a few drops in your nostrils. The saline will loosen up some of the mucus in your nostrils, and you might sneeze. But it will get some of the gunkies out.

I hope you are all better soon!

  9. We're sorry that William hissed at you. We're also very glad that you are feeling better. Mom had to live with a baporizer on all the time when she was a kitten. The medicine is yucky, but it is helping you get better, so keep taking it.

  10. My mom says you definitely need paper dolls and some crayons too, and maybe even Captain Kangaroo on TV. We're sorry about the medicine, but it does help you get better. William probably hissed at you cause you smelled like the cat fixit place. He's not a bad guy...
