Winter Storm Warning.

The weather service issued an advisory yesterday that isn't going to expire until tomorrow. It started with the terrible winds that howled and buffeted us all last night. Then today we got a whole bunch of snow! Of course, the interstates closed and then the airport closed and even the bank where Mom hunts all day when she could be spending time with me closed! So she was home early and we all piled into a chair with her, got all toasty and napped until dinner.

A brave diner.

  2. What a neato way to make it so your Mom could come home early! I want to be able to conjure up a snow storm!

  3. O William! Is that your friend eating seeds? The snow looks pretty in your picture. I think we're getting the same storm now 'cuz we live east of you. It's cold and wet and icky and my Daddy's van is all covered in ice. Mom says we have to get up early tomorrow to clean it off so he can go to "work". That means I get to eat early so it's OK. Then Mom and my woofies and I will go back to bed and snuggle!

  5. You all sound nice and toasty *inside the house! It rained here today, further south, but we've heard rumors of light snow.

  6. Isn't having birdie feeders right outside your window the very best!!! Actually inside the house would be great too but my Momma won't let me put one there.

  8. Lucky you! I wish DKM's bank would let her stay home. Maybe if she worked in that ManyAppleless place?

  9. Hi William,
My mother is still trying to figure out how to send you a picture of a bluejay. You're lucky to be able to have so many feeders. We can only have two. And the birdies are lucky to have your house to go to in the snow.

  10. Getting Mom home early is a definite perk of the snowy weather. We're the opposite here -- Dad's office had the air conditioning on today!

  11. Sometimes, a birdie has to do what a birdie has to do.

I'm glad that you got to spend extra times with your beanmom. It doesn't snow here, so I don't think I'm going to get a snow day with my beans.

  12. Enjoy the extra snuggle time with your mum. Mine didn't even go to work the day we had all of our white stuff. She could work from home.

We are only suppose to get wet not white from this storm.

BTW, I think you need to fill your feeders some more.
