Full Moon Monday.

Hey, everybody! You can officially act all cuckoo tonight and blame it on astronomy! We've already gotten a head start.

I wanted to tell you about my new clock! It was a gift from my Aunt M and it has birds in it! I finally talked Mom into taking it off the wall and letting me look for them. Actually they live in a really little bird house on the back of the clock. They are very very tiny. And my favorite one? The really really tiny summer tanager. He chirps at noon and midnight although I've never actually seen him. I know he's red, though, because there's a picture of him on the front of the clock. And red is my favorite color.

Where is everybody?

  1. What a neato pretty clock! Your Mom is so nice to let you look at it up close.

I got in a lot of trouble tonight and my Momma yelled at me. *quivering lip* I couldn't help it be the arm of the leather sofa just feels sooooOooo good on my claws.

You're lucky that your Momma still loves you William. I'm sure my Momma doesn't love me anymore.

  3. Oooohhh, we want a clock like that! Cept Moose would probably destroy it looking for the birdies.

William, did you teach Moose how to get into cabinets? Because he never has before... and now he is. Every time we turn around. He is driving Momma nuts!!

  7. OK, so now I have a reason for feeling so wild and crazy last night. Momma said to Daddy this morning "Patches was real bad last night." What is bad about yowling at 3:00 AM?

  10. We kitties don't need a full moon as an excuse to act cuckoo!

And, you won't believe this Wm., but we have a birdie clock at our house too. My sister Gracie who is at The Bridge now, liked to pat it with her paws when the birdies sang their songs each hour. Mom or Dad would hold her in front of it.
