Helping.

So my mom started fall cleaning. Boy, was that tiring for us! We started in her room. I was on window patrol and made sure the curtains came down all right and that the glass was spotless and that the freshly laundered and ironed curtains got back up all right. When Mom moved the bed to vacuum and flip the mattress, Olivia decided to inspect the box spring paws-on by getting into the actual springs. (We had shredded the covering by accident trying to retrieve favorite toys that somehow got under there.) Well, between Olivia and that kangaroo of hers, I didn't think she was going to make it out! Caroline supervised the moving of furniture so Mom could vacuum everywhere but screeched when Mom got too close to her instead of just saying, "This way, Mom." Eddie was all Zzzzz as usual.

Finally we got it all done. And we got six toys back, too! I'm not sure why, but Mom worked on her bathroom all by herself.

Anyway, when she finished that I told her, "Mom, we need to rest tomorrow and just have fun. It's a holiday AND it's your birthday. And now that you're like a hundred and one, we'll take care of everything."

  3. Fall cleaning is what my Mom needs to do because Catzee has lost all her toys and I'm tired of being their replacement. Does Mom have to wait until the day before her birthday to clean? If so, we will have to wait until spring.
