According to the new rules a planet [must] meet three criteria: it must orbit the Sun, it must be big enough for gravity to squash it into a round ball, and it must have cleared other things out of the way in its orbital neighborhood.
Pluto Is Demoted to 'Dwarf Planet'

Olivia the little piglet eating machine with the kangaroo in her meets all these criteria! It's like the International Astronomical Union somehow knows my sister! It's like they've seen her at dinner time trying to get to the food! How else could they explain that perfect clue, 'and it must have cleared other things out of the way in its orbital neighborhood' if they didn't know it fit her to a T?
Pluto is OUT, Olivia is IN! OLIVIA IS THE NEW NINTH PLANET!
I'm still one of the "smaller solar system bodies."
William, i must say i am a little skeptical about Olivia bein' a planet. why don't you contact the space center guys and have them confirm that.
ReplyDeleteThat could be the discovery of the century, William! I agree with Edsel about invesitgating it further with the space center guys. You could win a Noble Peace Prize or something if you're right!
ReplyDeleteIs there intelligent life on planet Olivia?
ReplyDelete:::rolls around, laughing at self:::
I'm sorry. That was mean.
hahahahahaha. poor olivia. you better watch out or she might kick you into a different orbit!
ReplyDeleteI must say, I can't get too upset about Pluto not being a planet any more. I mean, it was named for a DOG, after all!
ReplyDeleteWilliam are you the sun? That means she orbits around you, you are the center of your universe.
ReplyDeleteThe Food Lady was very upset that Pluto was made not a planit any more. But if Olivia takes his place, maybe it's not so bad after all.
ReplyDeleteAhahahahahahaha ~Merlin, shadow, Ko Ko
ReplyDeleteJust when I think you can't be any funnier........you are!!!!
