It's been in the squillions. I think our recent rains were just flukey instead of being real monsoons, so the nights have been hot too instead of cooling down. It's tough being a tiny black boy in this much heatI can't even sit in the windows for very long with these high nineties days.
EEEEK! How long is this going to last? It's sapping all of us!
First off, I'm sorry that I bought Kukka-Maria the Ferari. It's just...I knew she really wanted it, and I felt I might be able to coerce those homo sapiens to let me have one. I hope you're not too put off by it.
ReplyDeleteSecond, I can't agree more about the heat. I haven't been doing any sunbathing in the dining room, and I find the tiles in the foyer to be my only relief. It's just so incredibly hot and sticky here as well. Hopefully, it will end soon.
Boys, Boys! I wouldn't turn down a second Ferrari! I mean, really...have we just met?
ReplyDeleteAs for the heat, Squilliam? I feel terribly for you--until I remember Michigan winters and how you don't deal with snow like we do. Somehow that makes me feel less sorry for you guys.
(Don't tell the rest of them, though, that I really only feel badly for you. That beautiful, black coat must soak up that heat!)
Poor William - it must be so hot wif your dark coat. It's 'apposed to be in the 90's here this weekend and into next week. Our mommy can't tolerate heat over 70, so she's gonna be MEAN this weekend.
ReplyDeleteIt's too bad it's so hot. You could come visit us here--well it's suppose to warm up today and tomorrow but it's been much cooler this week and rainy and cloudy.
ReplyDeleteSounds like everyone is hot. Momma has less clothes on now and her skin is showing.....yuk!!

It is going to be furry hot here too for the next few days. But mum has the AC on and the fans are going too.
ReplyDeleteEvefurry kittie stay cool.
William, you can come visit me. The Mom has the A/C on so high that it feels like the dead of winter in here.
ReplyDeleteYes, black coats soak up the heat ~Merlin
ReplyDeleteit's hot here in the mitten state too. muggy, rainin' off and on. we're real lucky our house stays cool. my Mom doesn't like to put the air on, but the fans keep us comfy.
ReplyDeleteI hear you, William. I can't sit in the window for long, either. And nothing outside moves around much. When is fall???
ReplyDelete~ turtle
Sorry you are so uncomfortable William. I don't like the hot weather either. It is hot here in the daytime and cool in the evenings. The kitchen floor is the coolest place here.
ReplyDeleteMama says why don't we all go to the arctic circle. Bound to be cool there!!
