Have you noticed what I've noticed? We have ONE GIANT CAT COMMUNITY going! I never dreamed there would be so many of us talking to each other. It's so fun visiting everybody and finding comments from friends every day.
And a special welcome to my newest friends. I'm so glad you came to visit. Whew! I'm going to have Mom help me add to my site list again!
Oh, and I have something to share about my new play thing, too, since some of you said you had trouble with yours tipping over. Ours did that tooand I'm pretty sure it was Olivia the little piglet eating machine with the kangaroo in her who kept doing it, because a tiny boy like me couldn't possibly tip it overbut then Mom put a brick on the base, kinda like she did with our tree. Now I can play on it with Olivia and her kangaroo and it doesn't budge!
Congratulations on spreading the word. I hope you can convert a lot of people to the feline cause.
ReplyDeleteWe looked at the brick idea. Due to Magoo's size, it would have to be 17 lbs of brick to balance off his weight. We had a larger cat tree built form him before we got Smudge and Bella, and we had the carpenter triple the thickness of the base. Even then, if he hits it at full speed, he can make it sway pretty noticeably. But he is getting older, and does not do it as much.
ReplyDeleteah yes, we start with the internet, and then we achieve total world domination!
ReplyDeleteyea, Mom's are so smart. your present looks cool, i showed it to my Mom and told her i want one but she said i'm not gettin' anythin' new for a while 'cause i was mean to my poopy sister....
ReplyDeleteWord. That's how we roll...
ReplyDeleteHi William, glad to hear your Mom is feeling better. You guys must be great nurses.
ReplyDeleteWm. Yes, it has been lots of fun meeting all sorts of kitties through our blogs. Mum and I enjoy reading about everyone's adventures, good and bad.
ReplyDeleteSo I don't know who started all of this but I am glad we found everyone!
We are Kitties, hear us roar!!!
ReplyDeleteYeah that happened with Ko Ko's shredded tree to so Mom had to tuck it in between two low bookcases because he runs from across the room and takes a flying jump and lands on the top shelf. It's very fun to watch...and hear. ~merlin, shadow, koko
ReplyDeleteYes, I've notice and it seems more join our cause every day! Soon we will OWN the internet! (evil laugh) I have yet to knock over my tower, but I have made it sway! Could you please email my mom and tell her where she got your new toy? I WANT ONE!!!
ReplyDeleteIt is fun reading about other kitties in other places and commiserating about dogs.
ReplyDeleteTucker sways our scratching post as soon as him jumps on it. He is such a fatty.
Just this morning I was thinking about the growing number of cat bloggers and then I visited your blog and look what you wrote! It amazes me when I sit down with Mom or Dad to read all my friends' blogs and I look up and so much time has gone by that I end up taking a nap. You, Ginger and Timothy Dickens were the first three other blogging cats I found and I just can't believe how much fun this has become for me. It truly is a nice community.
ReplyDeleteYour Mommy is smart, William! It's not much fun to have a toy place fall over on ya when you're playin.
ReplyDeleteYou are W "of Mass Destruction." Hope the brick acutally helps.
ReplyDeleteWithout this community, I think I would be awfully lonely!!
Hmmmm, I wonder if the Meezers are telling the truth. Don't forget I'm on your team.
Yes, it is one happy cat community! We are very happy to be a part of it!
ReplyDeleteHey all your kitties...we are a furry coalition...that's what my mom says! She loves all the kitty blogs.
ReplyDeleteWilliam, so glad you have fun new toys....climb up high and tell us what you see.

Hi William. I don't blog yet but I love "meeting" all these other kitties through their blogs. I just found a page called Caturday,(www.caturday.com) the lady there is very sad because she lost her cat. Please go there and say hi to her.
ReplyDeleteThere are plenty of us and it IS fun!! I'm so glad I met you my tiny-dancer friend and all the poodies.
ReplyDeleteWMD, since discovering Max's blog last spring and venturing forth to other feline blogs, I have found that it is a lot of fun to read the feline point-of-view. I try to read you guys everyday. I never know what I will find. Some may make me sad and others glad. Thank you, everyone, for taking the time to write down your adventures.
