Talk Talk Talk.

My sister Caroline talks a lot. Everybody already knows that. She talks like ninety times more than all of the rest of us combined! But do you know what else? When she's talking and playing or talking and running or talking and visiting Mom, she squeaks. I'm wondering, does she need oil or something?

  1. hmmm, maybe you should oil her. i would reccomend olive oil (maybe give some to Olivia too, since her name is almost olive)

  2. I like Edsel's idea. Then again, maybe there's a mousie trapped in her. hmmm.

  3. I squeak all the time. Sometimes it's because I don't want to be bothered with forming actual cat words...sometimes it's because I want to confuse my mom.

Either way, it's fun for me! :)

  4. If not olive oil, may be a small dash of canola oil will work. My sister Pebbles, who's in kitty heaven, needed her daily dose of canola oil. She didn't squeak when she spoke.

  5. It's good to know there are other kitties who make weird noises. I chirp when I am very happy and playful (Mom and Dad say it sounds like there's a pigeon in the room when I do... or maybe I sound like one of your pet doves!), and often sqeak when I am sleeping or just coming out of a deep sleep. She's just a unique kitty!

  6. Dolce has actually giggled twice. Magoo has this rumbling growl that actually reminds me of how my father likes to mumble under his breath. Smudge coos and chirps all the time. Bella like to trill.

  7. I think Edsel is right. She needs oil. Lots of it. Find a bottle of baby oil, squirt it on the floor, and roll her in it. That should do it.

  8. Do you think she talks so much 'cause no one understands her yet? Being so new and all. Maybe you should act as her interpreter.

  9. Me thinks she talks so much cuz nobody ever LISTENS!!! I am not sure rolling her in oil is the bestest idea though, Max....might gum up her fur, you think?

  10. Thank you for the welcome!

My aunt, Sushine, squeaks too. She says squeaks get her even more attention from Granma.

  11. I squeak. In fact the only time I've been interested in the box with moving pictures is when a show about big, really fast spotted wild cats was on. They were chirping to each other and I ran up to the TV to try and see what they were saying. It sounded like MY language. ~Merlin
