Since I was kinda worn out from all that secret traveling and didn't feel like being in a parade this year, Mom did something fun, just for me. She gave me some LUCKY NIP to celebrate the Chinese New Year!
This is exciting!
I just need to get the
lucky envelope open.
Almost...
Closer...
Ahhhh!
Year of the Dogpfft! There's no such thing as dognip, now, is there?
Momma say's Gong Xi Fa Cai! but I have no idea what she's sayin. I didn't get a hongbao, when I asked her why, she said a'cause I'm not Chinese, but then I said, neither is William! No worries, I'm not too fussed about year of the dog, when is it the year of the cat?
ReplyDeleteyour Mom does like red, doesn't she? it's good she does, tho, 'cause it's such a good combination with your black shiny fur! how did that crow work out for you?
ReplyDeleteThis year of the dog thing ticks me off too. As if their heads weren't big enough already. Daisy won't let us forget.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't matter what year it is . . . dude - you scored extra nip!
ReplyDeleteBuzzerbee & meep
William, it was great to meet you at the nap-a-thon. Your coat is so shiny, do you use anything on it? I must admit I have a little bit of a dandruff problem sometimes, maybe Head and Shoulders would be good?
ReplyDeleteLucky nip? Our mom could use some of that!
ReplyDeleteDog, schmog. It is always the year of the cat to us.
ReplyDeleteI don't understand Chinese, neither does mum, excepted for food that she orders at the Chinese food place. The only thing she knows is gai=chicken.
I agree, red is a good color.
Nope no dog nip that's probably why they had to name a year after them. Soes they wouldn't feel left out ~Merlin, Shadow, Ko Ko
ReplyDeleteVery cute...a kitty with conviction....even to the year of the dawg!
