High Desert Hooey.

Well, it was just unbelievable, but we woke up to SNOW AGAIN TODAY! Now, even though this is only my second winter and not quite third spring, I think this is for the birds. Or no, the birds don't like it either!

Mom says this is highly unusual. The latest snow she knew of out here was April first. When she went to Lowe's (she said she was going to get some trees) the cashier said, "Snow blah blah blah blah blah blah 1998 blah blah." And Mom said, "Blah blah blah blah blah snow 1995 blah blah blah."

And because it was so cold and windy and icky, Mom only got stupid plumbing bits and didn't get the cypress trees for just outside my window and I'm going to miss another bunch of days where birds could be sitting very close to me. What in the world is going on with this weather??

  1. Tell me 'bout it William! My Auntie Deb who lives in Colorado had that same snowstorm blow through! She said there was so much that my cousin, Riley dog, had to get his jacket out again so he could go outside! They got somethin' like three feet of snow! Yipes! Stay warm poodin!

  2. No way, snow again? We have nice 80* weather Mom says. I just know it is warm and I'm shedding my "winter" ccoat. ~Merlin

  3. Snow? I don't see much of it. It has been in the 70s here.

  4. My goodness...snow again. It's been beautiful here in South Carolina. Mom opens all the window so we can hear the birdies and stalk them from window to window. I'll post a picture of my one time out into the snow. It's pretty funny. Josie and Huggy Bear have never seen snow, so maybe next year.
