Another Mom Fail.

So my mom was all excited to see Saturn the other night when it was between Jupiter and the almost-full moon and tried to get me and Izzy to join in the fun. Izzy was all Can I eat it? Then no, Mom and went back to sleep, and I was Yeah yeah yeah, something shiny again. Somehow she doesn't get that we're not that thrilled about the night sky.
But the daytime! Did she bother to alert me when she saw my secret tortie girlfriend the other day? No. I would have been thrilled about that! All I have is this tiny photo.
I guess I should be grateful she at least shared that.

  1. MOm's are the bane and still a blessing, of our existence. Have you got room, Izzits, for me to run and play over there with you two?

  4. Sheesh. Humans are interested in the weirdest things. Who cares about stuff in the sky when you got a cute tortie on the ground.

  5. I would have thought you'd want to be up at night looking around when things are dark. But your mom was wrong to let you miss out on seeing your ladycat friend.

  9. We enjoy night sky viewing too, kitties, although The Hubby won't go look at the Perseid Meteor Shower anymore, since he received too many mosquito bites the last time...(I didn't get any bites...) ;-)

  10. Since we live in a huge city, night sky watching isn't that exciting here. It's a different story when my human goes to the desert!

  11. Sounds like she needs a good whapping for not alerting you to that gorgeous Tortie sighting.
