We've got our red lantern out, and we're having fish for New Year's Eve dinner tonight. We will not have any firecrackers because we don't like them, but we figure our mom can certainly scare away evil spirits. (She sure scares us sometimes, especially when she gets up in the morning!) And tomorrow we'll get our Lucky Red Envelopes! We'll report on that fun next time.
In the meantime, 牛转乾坤!
Meaning, Wishing you turning all bad things around into a good brand new world.
Happy New Year gang, y'all sure made our day with those sweet photos. Enjoy those envelopes!
ReplyDeleteHappy Chinese New Year to you! Enjoy that fish.

ReplyDeleteOh dear. Dad and I are torn- we're so sad to read about poor Elliot and our hearts go out to you, but we're thrilled beyond thrilled to see y'all back up and running. We want to be sad for you but can't control our happy. We usually try to check in but hadn't been here in a while, so we're sorry we've gotten behind. Welcome Back!!!
ReplyDeleteA Very Happy New Year! That lantern looks fun
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
ReplyDeleteFortunately, none of our cats object to my funny hair in the morning, but the growling that The Hubby does when he gets out of bed will make any kitty run away!
Happy New Year! I hope you have a year of good fortune and blessings. I can't believe your mom is scary in the morning, maybe just a bit disheveled.
