I am listening for the telltale clacking of our neighborhood roadrunner. We heard him over the weekend for the first time this year.
Unfortunately, so did my mom, who of course had to clack at him herself.
She is just so embarrassing sometimes.
What is it with mums doing embarrassing things? Our mum is often embarrassing. We don't know what to do with her :/
ReplyDeleteGood thing she gives us treats. heeheehee

Dang, I didn't know you had a roadrunner!
ReplyDeleteA roadrunner, that is cool :)
ReplyDeleteYour human actually DID that? I am kind of glad we don't get those guys here - I'd hate to see my human doing that.
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE to see him and hear him! You are all so lucky even if she is embarrassing. ALL our mom's are, Ivan.
ReplyDeleteWe have never heard (or seen) a roadrunner outside here. They "clack"? The only one we know goes beep-beep...
ReplyDeleteTELL us about it! MOMS!
ReplyDeleteAt least she wasn’t meep-meeping. Or maybe she was.....
ReplyDeleteMum does a whistle that sounds like the cardinals.
ReplyDeleteSometimes my mom talks back to the birds. She's a bit sassy-mouthed when the squawking Jays visit our yard.
ReplyDeleteWe watch Meep-Meep on TV, but never saw a real roadrunner : we would love to see him ! Purrs
ReplyDeleteI have never seen or heard a road runner. I have to admit though that I do answer back to the owls, cuckoos and woodpeckers, oh yeah, and sometimes cows and sheep.
ReplyDeleteIvan, weird how humans try to talk to cats and roadrunners!

Roadrunners are OK by themselves, but don't they tend to have coyotes following them?
