What an exciting time we've had this week. First, thanks to everyone who joined the fight for net neutrality. You can read an update of yesterday's action by clicking on the graphic to the right. Pretty amazing.
Then, our resident roadrunner visited us three times this week. And by visit I mean he strolled right up our driveway! Of course, our mom had to get all weird about it by making what she thought was the same noise he makes. It's really no wonder he didn't stick around for long.
At least she doesn't try to talk to the hummers. And see those DIY humbrellas she made for the feeders? I think those tiny birds appreciate the protection from rain and relief from the hot hot sun — I know I would.
Then again, I don't really have to worry about stuff like that.
We think those are quite nice Humbrellas.
ReplyDeleteWOW, you've got a Roadrunner? I get some meds from his pharmacy MOL!
ReplyDeleteWe don't get roadrunners here :/
ReplyDeleteWe do get hummers though and we enjoy watching them too!
From the comfort of indoors.

A roadrunner? That is cool.
ReplyDeleteHow cool that you get a roadrunner and hummingbirds! My human set up a hummingbird feeder once, but all it attracted were ants.
ReplyDeleteYou have the coolest Mom ever--I hope you appreciate her. Humans are a dicey proposition, you know. Road runner noises! Hummer brollies! And FOUR YEARS without the cigarettes! I did not know she had quit--kudos to her. The Human said it was about the toughest thing she ever did.
ReplyDeleteWell, it IS important to you and you SHOULD bother because
ReplyDelete1. you're the boss. A boss needs to control everything
2. you do want the birdies to like their feeders, don't you?

ReplyDeleteElliott, your momma loves all living things...how can that be considered a 'bad' personality trait? Someday, I would like to see a roadrunner in the feather, so to speak; they don't live here in Michigan. The humbrellas are cute!
ReplyDeleteuh.......therz a lot oh semi fowl language that we iz knot used ta see inn ore reedin in bout heer in thiz post sew we will just say happee week oh end guyz :) ☺☺♥♥♥
ReplyDeleteMy mom talks to the squawky jays, but I can't print it here. Do you have instructions for your humbrellas? Our hummers fight over the feeder and maybe we could put little feeders around they yard so they don't fight so much.
ReplyDeleteYou got good programming for summer season.
ReplyDeleteEmma and Buster
We need an umbrella for our hummer feeder!
ReplyDeleteHow cool!
ReplyDeleteIs that coyote right behind the roadrunner?
Have a great weekend...
