Ivan's Oh My Bast Moment.

Somebody broke Bast's ear! Probably while playing grab-*ss or something.

I know nothing about it, though.

  2. I know it wasn't me. I wonder if it was...er...well, the other kitty(s) there with you? Nah, they'd never do that.

    1. p.s. We really like that statuette. Mom has a black cat statue similar to yours, but it has some gold ornamentation on it.

  4. Awww, bummer! My human had a beautiful replica of an Egyptian cat statue... until one of her cats knocked it over and broke it. Funny thing is, she actually has a photo of the cat standing next to and sniffing the statue!

  5. Meh. I think she just got her ear notched to show she'd been spayed. Nothing to do with you, Ivan. It was that darn vet--he musta got a little carried away with his scalpel. Yep, that's it.

  10. Ivan, did your mom yell HBO words?!? I'm with Spitty; that's an ear notch, what they do to feral cats to show they've been neutered. Pretty statue, and Bast is riding on a scarab!

  14. I agree with Spitty - Bast is the patron of ALL kitties, including the ones who have been TNR'ed.
