Early early early in the morning is about the only time the blinds are open these days. But we are expecting more moderate temps beginning this weekend. The 90s are better than the 100s--at least the so-called cooler has a better chance at cooling!
In the meantime, it's been a pretty logy week for everyone all the way around. No catbox ambushes, no chases, no destroying of toys trying to get the nip out. Once us three boys were all sprawled on the floor in the kitchen, taking coolness where we could. There are ceramic tiles in the foyer which would no doubt be much much cooler, but who has the energy to go downstairs, never mind get back up again?
Anyway, we hope every boiling buddy in the southwest bake wave gets relief soon. See you next week!
We purr you kitties and mum get some cooler temps soon!
ReplyDeleteIt's no fun when it is too hot to scream for treats :/

It's a brisk 55 here in the City by the Bay. I am glad for my furs this evening. Sorry, I know I'm gloating, heh heh, and don't worry, I'll pay for it come September October when we gets the hots. Nuffing like your hots of course. Poor Kitties. I am pleased you is all leaving my LCG in peace. We think Mom might be protecting her. XOXOXO
ReplyDeleteI haven't been outside since we arrived in Phoenix... but I hear it is really, really hot out there!
ReplyDeleteWhoa, we hope it cools off for you. Our sunroom blinds aren't open during the day for the same reason. It seriously interferes with leisurely bird-watching, doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteKeep cool! It is 65 here which is just right for me. Mum doesn't like it any hotter either.
ReplyDeleteI feel for you pal. I don't do heat very well either, and we get tired of having the house closed up in the summer. Living in WI, fortunately, it doesn't last long here, so we should not complain about it, but we do! Stay cool pal.
ReplyDeleteYou all need some cool STAT, Izzy! No fighting, no toys destroyed...what is this world coming to?!?
ReplyDeleteThat's worse than we have here. We have 90's and humidity though. XXOO Ceramic tile sounds mighty inviting, Izzy.
ReplyDeleteEspero que o calor dê uma trégua para vocês!
ReplyDeleteWe sure hope yer weather gets better soon. Ours is OK. 2" of rain was just what the yard and garden needed.
ReplyDeleteThat's hot!
ReplyDeleteIt warming up here again but hopefully it won't go over 90 degrees this time...
Noodle and crew
It's hot here and it's supposed to be over 100 the next few days, but since I'm indoors, the a/c keeps things cool. Sometimes I like to go out in the garage where it's hot so I can warm up. I hope you get more pleasant weather soon so you can keep the blinds open.
