Every now and then we get an ant in the house, more often than not in our bathroom. Today there was such an ant, and when my mom walked down the hallway at one point, she found Ivan and Izzy paying close attention to something.
Well, not only were these two entertained to no end by an ant, they watched Mom catch the ant in a jar, followed her to the sliding door, watched her put it outside, and then returned to the bathroom to look for it.
To look for it!
Really, do I need any more proof of how stoopy these two are? ::eyeroll::
Anyway, I think William sent this to us last evening. He always loved rainbows and it just makes sense, don't you think?
See you next week!
Absolutely, we are sure that William sent that rainbow. It's quite lovely. As for the lil mancats... we dunno. It's just that age, really.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the boys were hoping to find another ant ;)
ReplyDeleteWe like to think William sent that beautiful rainbow.
He sure picked a beautiful one :)
Purrs Georgia and Julie,
Treasure and JJ
I am sure William sent that- beautiful.
ReplyDeleteOh yea, William sent you a beautiful gift.
ReplyDeleteYeah, we see rainbows and wonder if they show up to pick up kitties.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely rainbow! Definitely a sign. :)
ReplyDeleteIvan and Izzy need close supervision... MOL!
ReplyDeleteAnd around here, TBT just steps on the ants in the house so they wont go reporting good things to the Queen.
Pitter-pat, pitter-pat! I was so fearful I might have to go through a WHOLE WEEKEND again without a Caroline Day. OMC--the horror! So thank COD here you are, darling! Oh, and we have about a squillion of your little guy's relatives over here. We kill 'em by the billions. Does that make us Bad, we wonder? If it were only the One, we might rescue him too. But seriously....No, no chance now. The Human crushes 'em with her bare hands now.
ReplyDeleteCaroline! brothers hear their own drummer. It's different from ours, don't you know?
ReplyDeleteCaroline, in the future when your stoopy bros are bugging you, just send them back into the bathroom to look for an ant! You'll have hours of quiet time then! Nice rainbow, William...bet your momma was glad/sad to see it. Love you, William.
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful rainbow. I think you are right and William did send it.
ReplyDeleteMaybe your brothers thought the ant might have run back indoors so were just checking.

I'm with you on this one, Caroline. Boycats can be so stoopid. The 2 around here don't even play with bugs when they see them. They're really missing out.
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful rainbow!
~Zoey
Boycats really do the silliest things! The same things happened the last time we had a lizard in the house. Newton kept looking for it for hours.
ReplyDeleteThat rainbow was definitely from William. That is one of the prettiest ones we have ever seen. Now we are thinking that maybe Ivan and Izzy might have thought a new ant made an appearance after they left the bathroom. Just trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. ReplyDeleteCaroline, William is always just past the veil...ready to whisper to you. Admiral whispers to Spitty still. Mom said our babies are always as near as a quick glance of an eye..and the loving dart of a remembering thought.
ReplyDeleteIt was very nice of your mom to take the ant outside. My mom would not have been so kind.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the boys were hoping to find more ants.
William sent you all a beautiful rainbow!
