We were all so touched by each and every message left about my bro that we hardly knew how to begin again. But things are returning to a normal rhythm here; William's back with us and now rests close by. I know my mom's comforted by all of it. We thank you all.
Do you know what was really amazing though? Caroline and Ivan actually called a truce during this time. Really! But except for mom time on the couch where we all pile on her and bickering is not allowed, that's over now. It's a screechfest when Ivan traps Caroline in the catbox.
See? Back to normal. Which is why I'm staying well above it in the crow's nest.
...Elliott
Welcome. You've been missed. We're sorry to hear that peace is no longer reigning in the valley.
ReplyDeleteScreechfest?
ReplyDeleteSounds like Georgia and Julie!
Julie would trap Georgia in the box.
We suspect Georgia would hold it until mum came home.
Maybe that is why she gets constipated :/
Good to hear William is back home, that is a comfort.
It is still not the same as touching them though.
That takes longer to get over.
So sad to see William's picture in the Bridge gang.
He was the same age as Georgia.
Big hugs and purrs.
Nancy and the kitties
May we squee *just* a bit at your return? Soooooo very happies to see you again. And we love the slight redesign up/over there <^ I am sure my dear furiend is wearing his halo well, perhaps a bit crookedly by now ;-)
ReplyDeleteElliott, I am very displeased to hear that my LCG is being treated with such disrespect by the Ornj menace. Are you going to be the Grown Up Boy, Bringer of Justice? If so, you need to begin some lessons in good manners immediately. I'll expect a report from my darling Caroline soon. Give her some smoochies for me. And your Mom too.
It's good to see you back. We were just thinking about you today! It must have been something else to have a truce like that around the house, but things being back to "normal" again must be comforting in its own way, too, even though it's a lot louder. Sending big purrs for continued healing, even if there isn't continued peace in the house.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back. Normal or the new normal is how things are now.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you all are back and getting back to normal.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad William is home with you. For me, that's always the start of a new beginning. Oh Ivan, can't you leave Caroline to the litter box in peace?
ReplyDeleteI am still so sad about William, but now he's home again with you all. If a truce happened once, it can...and will!...happen again. Elliott, why not use your talio and smack Ivan?
ReplyDeleteIt's great to have you back. We know you'll miss William for a long time, but he's watching over you to help everyone get along.
ReplyDeleteWe are so glad William is back with you all!! Peace is hard fought, eh!! xoxox

Screech Fest sounds familiar. Astrid is our screecher. Misty May is a bully and gets after her all the time. You are a very smart boy, Elliott. You all remain in our thoughts and prayers. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

ReplyDeletePurrs to you all.
ReplyDeleteWe used to have those, um, te-a-te's when we had other boxes. Since Dad got the ginormous 142 quart containers with 2 holes cut in not so much.
Darn I miss the action
