Both Elliott and I were Very Good Cats* this week. We didn't try to wreck the house, break stuff or bite off each other's ears. We didn't make anyone screech or yell or leave anything on the floor that my mom had to clean up. And do you know what? It paid off! Not only did El and I get some Gerber's, Mom shared bits of a corn muffin with us. That was a real treat! So it was a pretty fun week for us.
*Of course, Screamoline and the Terrible Two make it pretty easy for us.
Have a great weekend, everyone! I hope you get extra special treats for being Very Good too. And remember, don't get April Fooled tomorrow!
Ah, the benefits of being older and calmer :)
ReplyDeleteThat works here as only Julie is young,
but then, even she is pretty good.
Purrs Georgia and Julie,

Oh I love seeing you all. You always have something to make mine mommy smile and me too.
ReplyDeleteYes, you are very good. So it's a great time to be naughty.

ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend!
ReplyDeleteOh we always knew you were good boys; when mom is looking :)
ReplyDeleteEmma and Buster
The Good Boys always get the treats. I gotted a little piece of chicken today as I showed rare interest in a Human food. She tried to give me more, but no, I just wanted the one bite. Then she worried about why I didn't want the rest. Because I like my OWN FOODS, Silly Human! Good going on the Gerber's.
ReplyDeleteVery cool for you guys! It sounds like it was well worth all the effort being good.
ReplyDeleteNice photo of Elliott...with his long talio stretched across the rug! Guess it pays to remain in the eye of the storm, where it's quiet.

ReplyDeleteSounds like a good week.
ReplyDeleteHey, you know the saying. The key to training your human is sincerity. Once you learn how to fake that, you've got it made. If they want to believe you're sweet and innocent, who are you to tell them otherwise?
ReplyDeleteCorn muffins come with butter. I'd leave the corn muffin to mom and just lick the butter.
ReplyDeleteNo such thing as a Bad Cat! Impossible.
ReplyDeleteWe're glad to hear you had some yummy treats! Now that is over, you can find some mischief :)
ReplyDeleteIt's always worth not doing what comes naturally when treats are the result!! But now you've had your treats ......... ?!
ReplyDeleteoooo nice treats!!! SCORE!!!
