Elliott's Catmas 'Present.'

So the night before the day before Catmas, Elliott had had enough of his ear drain and got it out. Imagine my mom's panic when she saw this thing lying on the couch! She called the cat fix-it place right away to see if she needed to zoom him over to emergency again or what. Luckily for all it was OK to wait until the next day, so the day before Catmas, Elliott and Mom went first thing to visit our regular vet. El got a replacement inserted, but his healing progress has been somewhat delayed. We're not sure when he'll be rid of it and the air pillow collar.

He does make do, though. Here Ivan keeps him company as they try to get some faint sun today.

Poor guy anyway.

  10. Poor Elliot. It must be frustrating for him to have something constantly annoying his ear. It's nice of Ivan to keep him company.

  11. Aw, Elliot, I feel bad for you. I had to wear a cone-thingy for about a week one time, and it was no fun. I hope you heal quickly. ~Ernie
