We managed to get through the holiday weekend without a lot of panic, although Elliott was the champion hider this July 4th. Now we get a nice fireworks-free break until December 31st.
Me, I'm just going to relax until then.
Or at least until the next thunderstorm!
We get fireworks here if a sports team wins a championship too. Or sometimes just for grins if somebody made a trip over state lines to buy them. I do not like fireworks either, cat friends.
ReplyDeleteHow do you give an award to a hidden kitty? Just wondering...
ReplyDeleteNo fireworks until December 31? We hear them nearly every day, unless the wind blows the other direction. We hope Elliott recovers from the scare of the weekend quickly.
ReplyDeleteWilliam, Angel hide so well that we couldn't find her! She's found a new hidey-hole, that the humans haven't detected yet. Chuck hid, by laying on the bed.
ReplyDeleteGood for you, William! We hardly hid under the bed like we have in the past, opting to stay downstairs with mom and dad and the TV overriding most of the crazy blasting boomies outside.
ReplyDeleteI seem to get a few firecrackers every night for the next week. Then it gets quiet.
ReplyDeleteI had fun! Every time there was anything loud going on, my human gave me treats or played with me!
ReplyDeleteGood to hear you all survived the noisy celebration.
ReplyDeletePurrs Elliott is recovered.
We still get the bangs now and then.
Some humans seem to love them :/
Relaxing sounds like the right thing to do William :)
Purrs Georgia and Julie,
Treasure and JJ
Our main fireworks night is November 5th, but sometimes I hear them across the river if someone is having a party.
ReplyDeleteI think it will all go well now William. Except perhaps Screamoline MAY sound an alarm (or two)
ReplyDeleteYeah, we are very glad it's all done for awhile too.
ReplyDeleteWe are glad all the boomies are done too!
ReplyDeleteHave a calm and quiet Tuesday...
Noodle and crew
we had a banging (heh) weekend and thought we were done until someone lit one off last night and almost scared the furs off Daiquiri. hope they are REALLY done this time...
ReplyDeleteNice to hear there's not much panic in your house.
