Well, bro, it's been a year since you left.
Remember the place where Mom found you? (And how you almost got left behind until you waved your footie through the cage bars at her when she impulsively looked back at you?) She adopted three more boys from the same place. Can you imagine? Four boys now and only one Caroline! They're pretty fun -- I think you would like them.
Mom and I think of you often and we both miss you. A lot of our pals say they still think of you too. You were one special boy and you're still my favorite brother. I guess I just wanted to let you know that.
Me and Russell, way back when.
*tears* William, I understand. Very much.
ReplyDelete*sniff* the heart doesn't forget, cannot forget when a paw touches it.

We miss our ginger furiend Russell.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry your friend Russell is gone, William. I wish i could hug you and your siblings in person. This is a beautiful note to him.. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely note to Russell and such a sweet picture. We miss him too!
ReplyDeletePrecious remembrance...
ReplyDeleteWe bow our head in remembrance, too. What a handsome mancat he was!
ReplyDeleteWe miss Pretzel, too, William. We think he is glad you has some brothers again, though he knows for sure he will always be the most specialest brother of all. Love you, William, yes I do, and I am Mancat enough to say so!
ReplyDeleteP.S. Poor Screamoline. Does she need a girlfriend cat?
Russell was obviously a very special boy. It's always nice to remember our former family members and the unique joy they brought to our lives.
ReplyDeletePurrs to you, William. I didn't know Russell, but Sparkle did, and thought he was very cool.
ReplyDeleteI know how sad you still feel at losing a very much loved brother William, and know that you and your family will never forget him. Purrs to all of you.
ReplyDeleteOur Mom still gets very sad when she remembers his passing. It was so unfair. Pawhugs to you all.
ReplyDeleteOh William, I am feeling for you. First of all, thank you for your very kind words on my blog. It means so much to know that so many are thinking of me. I know just how sad it is to lose a brother (dad's been there, too. Twice, actually). I still remember Isaac, and I know dad still gets sad for him. What a very sweet, sad post in Russell's honor.
ReplyDeleteAwww, that makes our hearts ache. Lots of purrs to you and your human as you remember Russell. It's so hard to believe it's already a year. (((Hugs)))
ReplyDeleteWilliam, I'm all teary here! Pretzel Boy was a special cat, and I know you and your momma miss his antics and his love. I named the stray neighborhood cat Russell in his honor!
ReplyDeleteWe all send you hugs and love today as we all remember dear Russell.
ReplyDeleteDá um aperto no coração...
ReplyDeleteAww, what a wonderful tribute. We miss Tuesdays with Russell. We know he and William had a special bond, and that wonderful picture shows it. Love and purrs to you.
ReplyDeletePlenty hugs, William, are virtually on their way. I didn't know Russell for very long, but I am glad he and brandi are probably having a good time.
ReplyDeleteMemories will see you through, that and you're friends...
