Elliott's Thursday Wrap-Up.

Hi, everybody! William is letting me do the Thursday post this week. I thought I would tell you a bit about myself.

I wasn't the typical stray or left behind kind of boy when I wound up in the city shelter. In fact, my two sisters and I were brought in when my first human died. That was way way back in July.

My sisters got adopted fairly quickly but I was overlooked, as many black cats are. I'm also about 5, another reason I was passed by. So I waited and waited and waited. Weeks turned into months.

Finally, someone wanted to meet with me in the bonding room! This new human said she had another little boy like me and a little girl, too. She asked me if I thought I'd like to go home with her. Of course I said yes, so here I am! I've got a new mom, a new bro and a new sis. And I am very happy I've found a new family!

So that's about it for me. I hope you all have a great weekend!

  11. Oh Elliott, It made us a little leaky thinking of you having to wait so long for a new family, but it was worth it because you really did win the lottery getting adopted by William's Mom. She's a really good one! I imagine you are finding it easy to hang with your new Bro, though I think Screamoline will take some getting used to. Even though I am her LCB, I think it might be a good thing that ours is a long-distance relationship.

You have a really, really (REALLY) long tailio. Really. Get the Human to measure it.

  17. Elliot, your story is a bit like mine. My first family took me to the shelter and it took several months for me to find my new forever family. We black kitties are easily overlooked. But it was well worth the wait and I'm so happy to be with my new mom & dad. You found a great home too, so yay for us.
