Well, we're kinda glad this week is almost over. In addition to 9/11, Monday marked the one year anniversary of my sister Olivia's running off to the Bridge. I still talk to her, though. She can hear me best if I go to the far end of the hallway. My mom thinks I'm talking to myself down there, so it's a little joke we have. Olivia says that even though she misses us she has lots of friends where she is and it's wonderful.
It's a welcome rainy day today, perfect for just relaxing. In fact, rain is forecast for most of the weekend, too. We can really use it, so it's all good. Plus, it's perfect for napping on Mom while she relaxes!
Have a nice weekend, everyone!
It is good that you talk to Olivia. We bet it is comforting :)
ReplyDeleteWe will be getting LOTS of rain from a storm called Gabrielle on Friday. It won't bother us, but Mom is sure to get wet! heehee
Did we mention that we like being indoor kitties ?
Purrs Tillie and Georgia,
Treasure,Tiger, JJ and Julie
One year....already. We hope Olivia has found Scooby and that they hang out now & then.
ReplyDeleteWe're sure that it means a lot to you that you can still talk to Olivia. We still talk to Talia sometimes. And Newton tries to blame her for things when he is naughty, but it doesn't work so well these days.
ReplyDeleteTell your mom to stay dry!
William, that is a super nice picture of you. Looking furry handsome. Mum talks to her beans in heaven like that. Says she knows they can hear her, even if she can't hear them.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend, William!
ReplyDeleteWilliam, it must be a special day as it appears Caroline is sleeping in YOUR beddie. You are looking extra spiffy today, kind of like that Alistair Cooke who used to be the host of Masterpiece Theater. Very distinguished.
ReplyDeleteIt is verreh nice that you can talk with Olivia. The Veil is very thin for us kitties and we can sense a whole lot of stuff the Humans are way too dense for. It probably helps your Mom to know that you're in touch with her. XOXOXO
I know Admiral, the one who came before, talks to me and to Spitty. That veil is thin indeed to discerning kitties and you are certainly one of them. xoxox
ReplyDeletewe never got to meet your angel sister olivia. but we're encouraged to know that angels continue to keep an eye on you.
ReplyDeleteEmma and Buster
Me and the Beans talk to Eric too. We know he is close by. We have heavy rain but wish it would go away again. When it starts to rain in England, it never knows when to stop again.
ReplyDeleteHi Bud. I just came back to look at Caroline some more. She looks adorably sleepy there, all squinty and warm.
ReplyDeletePurrrrrrrrrrfect black cat
ReplyDeleteVocĂȘ tem grandes planos para o fim de semana, dormir, dormir, dormir zzzzzzzzzzzzzz
ReplyDeleteWilliam good that you are able to communicate with your sister Olivia. We all talk with Abby too.
