Thursday Wrap-Up.

So we saw comet Pan-STARRS last evening. That was pretty fun. Not quite as much fun as watching my mom earlier in the day on the floor with her Maglite looking for a bell I bit off a toy (she was worried that I had eaten it – as if!). Really that was a ploy on my part to get her to check under stuff for missing toys. Well, she found one toy and finally found the bell under the rocking chair. I told her I hadn't eaten it. And the one toy she found behind the bookcase? It's still there! Moms.

Our weather has warmed up into the high 60s during the day, which means open windows again. The only bad thing? It's hard to take a snooze when 50 million robins are screaming all morning long. Why, I bet every one of them is named Caroline! I'm glad they finally give it a rest in the afternoon, otherwise I'd never get any sleep!

Well, I have some catching up to do. Have a fun weekend, everybody!

  1. A very large faraway comet and a very small nearby bell. And some too-darn-close robins!

  2. It is fun to watch the mums looking for missing toys which they think we have eaten. Sometimes our small mousies disappear and mum looks high and low for them in case we have swallowed them. Honestly! Does she really think we would swallow them whole?

  3. Moms can be worry warts sometimes ;)
It is most fun to see them on the floor looking for stuff though, heehee!
We must make a note to avoid anything called Caroline unless we have earplugs ;)
    Enjoy your snooze!

  4. Well, OUR mom is right to be worried when things disappear here, because Wilbur actually DOES eat toys and stuff! THEN he yacks it all up.

  8. We keep looking for the comet, but no luck yet. Dad saw a bunch of bright lights, so he figures one of them much have been it. But still...

We're hoping for open windows this weekend!

  9. We are happy you didn't eat the bell! Birdies can be really noisy in the morning--especially when they have bushes and trees to roost in for the night.

  14. William, speaking hypothetically, would it be, well, wrong if when I looked at this picture, I thought about how snoozy-cozy it would be to curl up for a nappy with my furry little head tucked right up under your chin?
