Meezer Wednesday.

It's me, Caroline!

Here I am on my little cat quilt., minding my Ps and Qs. I often stay right here while Mom is working because I am a very good cat!

We've had some pretty exciting times in the last few days. First, our brand-new patio umbrella was all eaten up by a fierce gust of wind yesterday! The frame got all mangled despite it being closed and the canopy went sailing into space! Mom walked all around, then drove all around, trying to locate it, and it was just plain gone. Gone!

That little dove came back, though. Mom made him go away again. We haven't seen him since.

The cooler guys were by today to prep the swamp cooler. It's been like a million degrees here already and you know how we hate the hots! So that's running now, but guess what else? The guys found the missing umbrella canopy on the roof!

So maybe the little dove will come back too...

  1. Paws crossed that dove comes back, Caroline! I don't know WHY your human keeps chasing it away. You kitties need some fun and excitement around your house!

  3. Sweet Caroline! You're a beautiful girl! Your eyes are divine. Glad the umbrella was found and the air conditioner is working. Our kitties don't like the heat here in OR either, but i'm certain it's nothing like the heat you felines have in NM! :) Happy Hump Day Caroline..

  4. Oh, darling Caroline, your photo today took my breff away and made me all fainty. I just KNOW you are looking right at me and saying, "I loves you best of all, Big Boy" even though I'm really kind of a little boy but it doesn't matter because I need to lie down now. I'll have to come back and look at your some more later, when I've rested.

  5. You look like you are just an angel. How frustrating about your umbrella. The humans have been thinking about getting one but they worry that that would happen here too. We get quite a lot of wind.

  8. It would be wonderful if that little dove comes back to visit, but not to nest. Just make sure Russell doesn't scratch up the windows trying to say hi.

  12. Things have a funny way of working themselves out! The dove will be back if there is food nearby. We get a seagull who stops in every once in a while at our place, but that's because I put out crackers to attract the wildlife to the door!
