My name is Gracie but nobody calls me that except the Dr. Fix-It lady. I don't answer to Gracie; I answer to Pee.
It was my mom who started calling me Pee Queen, even if my brothers think they came up with it. I don't mind because 1.) I know she doesn't get mad when I live up to my name, and 2.) it has a royal title in it!
Before Mom found me, I lived with another family. They didn't understand me and were pretty mean about it. They dumped me at the city shelter claiming that I didn't get along with their stupid dog. Please. The stupid dog wouldn't leave me alone, was more like it.
One day, he interrupted me while I was taking care of my toilette. It was awful! Of course I didn't want go back in the box after that! So I found a mat to use. This upset those people very much. Although I don't like to think about it, I'm pretty sure that's how one of my canines got chipped. And that's how I wound up in the shelter with that stupid fib about the stupid dog.
Well, when my true mom took me home, I stayed in her bathroom while I recovered from a slight cold. I had a cat box all to myself (and no dogs in sight!) but it was days before I peed in it, and then only once or twice. I know she thought that was unusual but not alarming; too many things were going on with me so she didn't think much of it. When I was freed from the bathroom, she showed me where the big box was, and that was fine...except for pee, of course. I just couldn't. I found a rubber mat kept by the door leading to the garage to be just perfect.
It took me awhile to explain to my mom, but she never got mad at me. And because she understands, we have a deal. If that's the only non-box place I use, I can continue to use it. And so I have. And that's how I got my name. Being Queen is not bad at all.
You have a very kind and understanding Mom. And we all have our challenges.
ReplyDeleteYou are a very special and sensitive kitty, and I am glad your human understands that.
ReplyDeleteMiss Pee, we all have our quirks. All in all, we think the deal you have with your Mom is a pretty good one. You could, for instance, eat weather-stripping or chew wires. Just sayin'.
ReplyDeleteMiss Queen Pee, we're glad your mom understands you. After all you had to endure in your first life, we're glad you're loved now. You are very beautiful, so we're sure that helps some! :)
ReplyDeleteYour friends, Fuzzy and Zoe (with no royal titles)
PQ (Pee Queen), we think your mom is way cool to understand you and provide you with a special place to..um...pee.
ReplyDeleteBeing royal has it's rewards.
Gracie the Pee Queen is a lovely lady cat with a home that deserves good things.
ReplyDeletePee Queen, it's so nice when Moms understand us !!!
ReplyDeleteTreasure & JoyJoy sometimes have litterbox problems. Now that they live with less cats and are not getting picked on, they are doing better.Yup, you just needed the right Mom :)
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
Purrs Mickey,Georgia & Tillie
How wonderful your new forever mom understands you.
ReplyDeleteGracie, you are special, but your Mom is also super special for giving you room to be yourself.. Though I am sure you Mom is reluctant to change anything, I wonder whether you would be ok with that rubber mat being inside its own litter tray. Without litter.
ReplyDeleteI think you have a really good Mom now, like everykitty should have. Those other people hardly deserve to be called Humans at all.
ReplyDeleteI think Pee Queen is a fine name, but then a kitty whose name is Spitty can't really be too judgmental.
Any name with "Queen" in it is pretty good!
ReplyDeleteWhat HORRIBLE people!! My dear, I'm so glad you've found the perfect forever home. you're a bootiful and special girl.
ReplyDeleteNice to know you Pee~~~
ReplyDeleteYou have a wonderful mom, who understands you experienced trauma and that's why you don't use the litter box. You're a good ladycat to use only the rubber mat, and it seems like the purrfect arrangement for you both. *Kitty kisses*
ReplyDeleteYou are a pretty ladycat Pee Queen and we are glad your mum is so understanding unlike your previous home. If the arrangement suits both of you, then it is a good arrangement.
ReplyDeleteSometimes it takes a special human to understand a special cat. We're glad the right Mom found you, your majesty the Pee Queen!
ReplyDeleteYour Mom is so patient with you. That is good! I am glad you have a place where you feel safe.
ReplyDeleteMom's can be very understanding that way -- and it's good that you have an understanding. I think you're in the right place. Too bad that stupid dog got you all out of sorts.
ReplyDelete--Jasper
So pretty you are, Miss Gracie PQ.
ReplyDeleteYou have a good mom, and that's all that matters.
Gracie, !, Sophie, Her Royal Highness, very much approves of your human. Tell her I said she is very wise and I would recommend her as an initiate into the royal society of the W.B.O.B.W., but I am suspect she probably has accepted your invitation and already stated her intentions with your society, and I respect that. I do hope your group allows humans to join.
ReplyDeletePQ, you are a very special girl, and we're glad you have a special mom who understands you!
ReplyDeleteIs OK Miss Pee, we all has our baggage. Is not easy to be ascairt of things. Your mommy is very sweet to help you feel comfortable in your new life.
ReplyDeleteYou have a very understanding mum Miss Gracie. I prefer Gracie over Pee. I know sometimes it takes a better, second spot to know you are truly loved for the cat you are.
ReplyDeleteDucky
This might be the sweetest thing I've ever read.
