Thursday Wrap-Up.

Aunt L and Uncle B's plans were delayed and delayed again, so we're looking at Saturday now. My bro is beside himself.

We have the most beautiful web outside our room's window. It is anchored from the tree several feet away to the corner of our window. I haven't seen the spider who's woven it, but he must be able to fly to string a web such a distance! Mom says he's as big as Pee Queen. She has been known to exaggerate, though.

The only thing is that because the window cranks out, opening the window will break the web and poor Mr. Spider will have to spend a lot of time fixing it. I guess we can stand to have that window closed for a while.

We have the run of the house without parental supervision again! Mom's office moved far, far away and she's had to go in every day. I don't know if this will be a new permanent arrangement, but it's kind of fun not having to listen to Pretzel getting scolded for chasing Screamoline.

Have a fun weekend, everyone! I'm just going to stay on watch.

  1. That is very nice of you, keeping the window closed for a while to save the spider some work!

  2. My mom broke a spider web this morning when she walked through it. You should have seen her dancing around to make sure the spider wasn't on her.

  5. Maybe if you wait realy stealthy-like, you could have that spidey for a snack. Just sayin.

  7. That is very thoughtful of you for Mr.Spider. I hope that your Mum's office gets so it isn't so very far away. I know my human hates driving and gets grumpy if traffic is bad.

  8. There are advantages without having parental supervision time, but always is fun having an "audience" is present when getting into things.

    Have a good weekend.

  10. We an The Big Thing have been known to leave spider webs alone. Him cuz he likes spiders, we cuz we dont want the webby stuff all over us...

But we all all agree here ta leave webs alone.

  11. I like your blog! We have a spider web, too. Actually, too many which the housekeeper says catch ants (or did). Yours sounds beautiful, though, the kind to sit in the window and watch go through its day.

  12. I hope you get a good look at that spider, and that Mr. Spider stays outside where spiders belong.

  13. We have a good sized spider build one under the eaves on our deck all summer. It's always so intricate. Don't worry about breaking it. Spiders don't have much else to do besides build them and wait for prey.
