So you'd think that everybody who had fireworks last night would run out of fireworks, wouldn't you? I fear it will be another night hiding with all those dumb fireworks stands having tried to get rid of their leftovers today.
And yes, I did say hiding and I'm not ashamed of it–fireworks scare me.
I completely understand, I don't like them at all!
ReplyDeleteLuckily people can't set fireworks off in their yards here, and the town fireworks were not very loud with the windows closed. Mom and Dad went to a great fireworks show on Friday night.
ReplyDeleteAs pretty as they are, Mom is now starting to think fireworks should be banned because of the effect on the environment.
The boomers weren't loud here so no hiding for us.
ReplyDeleteWe hate them too...good thing we like the bedroom closet.
ReplyDeleteIn fact, we like the closet so much SomeCat peed in there last night during all the ruckus.
Did we mention we're fraidy Cats?
fireworks are scary! You look very brave tho.
ReplyDeleteNothing to be ashamed of, William. We spent most of last night as far away from the loud noises as possible.
ReplyDeleteI don't like them either William! But last night turned out to be not so scary after all--most of the Big Noises here happened on Saturday night. I'm glad the quiet has returned to my little world!
ReplyDeleteThey scare us too my friend. YOu stay safe.
ReplyDeleteHey, we don't like the loud things either!
ReplyDeleteWe were lucky here on Canada Day (July 1) that we're far enough from downtown that the fireworks didn't bother us. Our human didn't even hear them!
ReplyDeleteWe don't like them either William! They make us very nervous. Hopefully all the noise will be over soon.
ReplyDeleteOver here, all the firework stands were shuttered. Some being disassembled.
ReplyDeleteWe had a few booms last night, but very, very tame compared to Sunday night.
Fireworks scare me too! I hid in the basement all day!
