Glad It's Almost Friday.

Yesterday we had computer issues. And then we electrical problems--half the house was dead off and on all evening. We called the electrician at 10:30, heard back about 35 minutes later (they were having a busy night due to a storm), and with an ETA of midnight, Mom reluctantly decided to wait until the morning. But while she was in the dark garage getting a heavy-duty extension cord for the refrigerator, everything came back to life and stayed alive. That was good! And maybe the electrician was right--the power company might have been the cause. So she called the dispatcher and had to wait for a call back to cancel. And by the time she got all the furniture moved back near the electrical panel and got to bed, it was way after 12. I was exhausted with all her activity. And while we were all looking forward to checking out that extension cord, we're glad we didn't have to spend all that cat toy money on electrician visits!

We got to nap altogether before dinner tonight but we really need a whole lot more. Have a great weekend, everyone! Hope you all have some naps, too!

  1. Don't you just hate it when the beans are up too late at night disturbing our house trashing time? Throws everything completely off for days.

  7. A big handsome cat like you William must have weathered the crisis with aplomb.

  9. I'm glad the power came back on. That's no fun at all. And you can't beat a good excuse to nap with your Mom.
