Weekend Wrap-Up.

Oh, what unfriendly weather we've had. It was windy windy windy, and pretty chilly, too. Our trees were raining branches day and night, and the bird feeders were swinging so wildly that my bird buds could hardly get a seed to eat! It was loud and scary and we didn't like it one bit.

The good news is that my mom found it too cold to spend much time working in the yard so she spent lots of time with us, including a really long nap yesterday to make up for the loss of sleep from the blustery night before. But the bad news is she also spent lots of time playing with that special snake that lives on the vacuum, and now all our fur is gone from the couch and chairs! It will take us weeks to get things back to normal, even with the five of us.

Stupid wind!

  3. Ooooh I know what you mean about the wind William. We lost one of our wind chimes to the wind this weekend. They blew over the fence and were mowed!

Mom and my Daddy will be in Albuquerque this Tuesday and Wednesday. They have promised me that they will say "hi" to you and your sibs and your Mom while they are there. So please be listening to the wind 'cuz I hope it will bring their greetings to you.

I do not remember if I gave you the URL to my new blog, so if I did please forgive the repetition. It is http://thetigerlilypad2.blogspot.com.

  4. William,
we would rather have your winds than the 6+ inches of snow we got in Iowa today.
Mom and the little bean fed the birds some bread though so at least they got something to eat.

  5. My mom played with that fur sucking thingie too! We hate it, but we win because we have so much fur lying about, that she can't get it all.

  6. I am glad you got inside time with your Mum but am sorry to hear that it ended up being with the vacuum instead of just you guys...

  7. I know just what you mean about the wind, William. We even got a little snow with ours. It's just not right for your Mom to spend her more inside time with the fur-eating snake instead of with you. Have fun getting fur all over the furniture again.

  11. I think Moms just like to challenge us to see how quickly we can get our hair back on the furniture. I bet you can get it back hairy faster than you think.

  14. We want to say we think your vacuum sucks, but refuse to stoop to something so obvious. (We'll see if our human dad will do it, though)

William, you look so inscrutable in the meatloaf position...
