Progress.

So tonight Russell and Gracie touched noses and there was no hissing or batting.

But I still think he likes the toy basket more.

    I am impressed with the progress between Gracie and Russell. I think it's perfectly natural for Russell to prefer the toy basket, though. It will never hiss or bat at him.
