Do you know what I found out? I have something in common with that little redheaded terror that is making me pretty unhappy.
You all know how spazzy my mom has been about remembering our birthdays and how William made her look on the note she wrote to herself with the dates on it and all. Well! She totally missed mine back in November (25)! And I suppose the fact that she totally missed Russell's, too (March 28), should be some consolation. But it isn't.
So I guess my rule for today is any time a birthday is missed, whether it's a day or five months, we get toys and treats times the number of days we had to wait for someone to wake up!

P.S. William (the good brother) says thank you all for sending him birthday wishes. He's a good boy and I love him a bunch.
Of course you deserve treats and toys! It is just mean for your Mom to miss your birthday and then not make up for it!

ReplyDeletePoor Caroline. Your Mom forgot your birthdays. That is just wrong - of course Mom can't remember how old Cody is - but at least she knows his approximate gotcha day.
