Well. Four very l-o-n-g phone calls to India, countless hours uninstalling, reinstalling, plugging and unplugging, testing and retesting, scanning and scanning again, a quick trip to Best Buy tonight and one new modem later, we're back as of just minutes ago.
I hate technology sometimes. But I did learn a whole bunch of new words this past week!
Anyway, thanks to everyone who visited in my absence and thanks for all the Valentine's wishes, too. I hope everybody got kisses!
I'll be catching up. See you on Sunday!
YaYaYaYa!!!

Did you learn any words you care to share for the rest of us? Or where they all "those" kinds of words?

ReplyDeleteWilliam, the words you learned? Are they words that would be on the bad word list?

We're sure glad to see you back. Disappearing DSL? Sounds like an expensive disease to catch.

Yeah, we learn more words when The Big THing has puter problems, but we aren't allowed to use them. MOL!
ReplyDeleteWelcome back!

I bet you did learn some new words and they are probably the same words my Mom says when technology goes awry with her. Mom has to stick with dial up and it is so slow. They are finally getting DSL out here in the boonies but Mom won't be able to afford it. It's $125 to hook up and $49.95 a month. You have to help pay for the cable that they just put in for way out here. At least that is what they say. So glad you got everything fixed.
